The NVT Group are an IT Network Support Services company providing hardware and software support, on-site and off-site disaster recovery, managed services and networked solutions.

At the end of 2011, NVT Group requested QSP to manage a two phase program that involved gaining certification to:

• ISO14001
• ISO27001

Phase 1 – ISO14001

The implementation of ISO14001 within NVT commenced in January 2012.

A Gap Analysis to ISO14001 was conducted by QSP Solutions in order to establish the actions required by NVT. The Gap Analysis report developed a full implementation program that included the development of environmental policies, procedures, legal registers and a full audit program.

NVT successfully passed the stage 2 audit to ISO14001 by BM Trada in July 2012.

Phase 2 – ISO27001:2005

The implementation of the Information Security standard ISO27001 within NVT commenced in November 2012.

Using the ISO27001 Statement of Applicability, QSP Solutions guided NVT through the certification process completing actions such as:

• Information Security Risk Assessments
• Information Security Internal Audits
• Completion of the Statement of Applicability
• Development of the Information Security Management

The company was certified to ISO27001 in February 2013
